The brake line's block is attached to the axle by the vent nipple, which screws into the axle tube. Remove the vent hose, unscrew the vent nipple, hold the brake block with a crescent wrench, and extract the broken hardline fitting. If you can't, you've already started removing the brake hose. My 95 f150 5.0 has a hole in the driver front brake line and I'd like some advice on repair. I plan to fix it myself but have never worked on brake lines so am unfamiliar with the types of fittings and methods of repair.
