After spending a day and half trying to figure out Cabinet parts pro setting to do a dado cut, I'm giving up. So, if anyone here can give assistance it would be much appreciated. I've tried various setting, toolbits etc to just make a single back dado and end up getting a box shaped cut left over with material inside the pocket cut. I’m looking for a CNC router in the 10-20k range. I’m going to be cutting 4x8 sheets of ¾ MDF, mostly cabinets. I’ll be running about 25-50 sheets a month. The cabinets use cam and posts, so I’d like a machine that can drill side holes, but none of them seem to be able to do that in my price range.

ShopBot recommends a chip per tooth of 0.003 for MDF so try that with a 0.2 in depth of cut and that should work well. You can probably cur deeper but it's a good place to start.
